This is the start of a new site for Milton Morris - so bear with us as construction continues.

STOP PRESS

2009 started in propitious circumstances with successful renditions of the (M)Ilmington Mummers play in the week of Twelfth Night and a sizeable renewal of the Pampisford Plough Sunday on the 18th January.

The whole village and many faithful followers from round and about joined in with the Plough festival - bellringing (Tower and handbells), the plough procession, dancing from 5 Morris sides and a special dance from the village youngsters (that's us doing our bit to promote Morris to the younger generation).
The gallery page gives a flavour of the event.

Our next engagement is a further instructional from the Ilmington Morris Men in south Warwickshire which should see us complete our move to dancing all 24 of the Ilmington dances (though not all at once)!!

See the programme page for more details on how we  hope 2009 will pan out.

We look forward to meeting you all at one of our dance-outs.
